What supplies and items are available the cottage?
The cottage come with beds, mattresses, mattress covers, pillows and pillow protectors. It has a full compliment of kitchen and cooking items, limited toiletries, as well as various things to keep you entertained and help you relax. What should I pack?
You will need to bring sheets, pillowcases and blankets. You will also need to bring items such as: face cloths, hand towels, bath towels, beach towels, t-towels, and dish cloths. Of course, you should also pack your own bathing suits, water slippers, waterproof sunscreen, fishing poles, tackle, food and beverages. Be sure to check out the long list of amenities in North Beaver and South Beaver to make sure you bring items we don’t supply.
Are there any interesting places nearby for quick day trips?
Bon Echo Provincial Park is just up HWY 41 and offers a multitude of things to do and see, such as the native pictographs.
If you happen to have a rainy day, you can check out the wineries and interesting towns in Prince Edward County, or make a quick run into Kingston or Gananoque.
How early in the season do you accept reservations?
Many of our returning guests book as early as one year in advance, in order to ensure they secure their preferred week and/or cottage. While advance booking is recommended, depending upon availability, we may be able to accept bookings within a few weeks of when you would like to come. Even so, once you get a sense of when you want to take your vacation, we encourage you to get in touch and make your reservation.
